The Moderns were a Swedish mod-revival band that combined a love for 60s pop with the intensity of punk. During their short but intense career, they supported Echo & The Bunnymen on their first English tour in 1980. Their first EP, "The Year of Today" from 1979, is considered a classic. Along with the second single, songs from several compilation albums, and some completely unreleased tracks, a definitive collection titled "Suburban Life" was released in 2021.
