The Toms is the solo project of producer, songwriter, and singer Tommy Marolda, who recorded over 30 songs in his home studio during a single weekend in September 1979. Twelve of these tracks were released on his debut album, 'The Toms', which became a cult classic in the power pop genre. In 2020, 'The 1979 Sessions' was released, featuring additional songs from these recordings.
