The Moody Blues were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1964. Initially playing rhythm and blues, they later became known for their fusion of rock with classical music, pioneering progressive rock. Their breakthrough album, "Days of Future Passed" (1967), features the hit "Nights in White Satin". Throughout their career, they sold over 70 million records and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.
