The Muffs were an American punk rock band formed in 1991 in Los Angeles. The group consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Kim Shattuck, bassist Ronnie Barnett, and drummer Roy McDonald. Their debut album, 'The Muffs,' was released in 1993, followed by 'Blonder and Blonder' in 1995 and 'Happy Birthday to Me' in 1997. The band was known for their energetic sound and catchy melodies, blending punk and pop influences. After the passing of Kim Shattuck in 2019, the band ceased activity.
