The New Basement Tapes is an American supergroup comprising Elvis Costello, Rhiannon Giddens, Taylor Goldsmith, Jim James, and Marcus Mumford. Formed in 2014, the group aimed to set to music previously unpublished lyrics by Bob Dylan from his "The Basement Tapes" era. Their sole album, "Lost on the River," was released in November 2014 and features 20 tracks blending folk, rock, and alternative genres. The album was produced by T Bone Burnett.
