The Outsiders were a Dutch band from Amsterdam, active in the 1960s. They released three albums: "Outsiders" and "Songbook" in 1967, and "C.Q." in 1968. Their 1967 single "Summer Is Here" reached the Dutch Top Ten. The band was known for their unique style, blending rock, garage rock, and psychedelic rock. Although their album "C.Q." was initially not commercially successful, it is now considered a masterpiece of psychedelic rock and garage rock. The Outsiders never recorded any cover versions, which was unusual at the time. Their music influenced many later bands in the genre.
