The Postal Service was an American indie pop band from Seattle, Washington, consisting of vocalist Ben Gibbard, producer Jimmy Tamborello (also known as Dntel), and Jenny Lewis on backing vocals. The band released their sole studio album, "Give Up," in 2003 on Sub Pop Records, which reached number 45 on the US Billboard 200 chart and received platinum certification from the RIAA. The album features notable singles such as "Such Great Heights" and "We Will Become Silhouettes."
