The Quintet was a jazz group composed of five prominent musicians: Dizzy Gillespie (trumpet), Charlie Parker (alto saxophone), Bud Powell (piano), Charles Mingus (double bass), and Max Roach (drums). The group performed a single concert on May 15, 1953, at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada. This concert was recorded and released as the album "Jazz at Massey Hall."
