The Running Man was a British progressive rock band comprising guitarist and composer Ray Russell, vocalist and keyboardist Alan Greed, and drummer Alan Rushton, all former members of Rock Workshop. In 1972, they released their sole album, "The Running Man," under RCA's Neon label, featuring tracks like "Higher & Higher" and "Find Yourself." After the band's dissolution, Russell, Greed (now known as Al Clare), and Rushton joined forces with bassist Jeff Watts to form Mouse, releasing the album "Lady Killer" in 1973 under EMI's Sovereign label. Both albums are considered cult classics in the progressive rock genre.
