The Seahorses were an English alternative rock band formed in 1996 by guitarist John Squire after leaving The Stone Roses. The band released their only album, "Do It Yourself," in 1997, which reached number 2 on the UK Albums Chart and achieved platinum status. The album featured successful singles such as "Love Is the Law" and "Blinded by the Sun." The band disbanded in 1999 during the recording of their second album due to musical differences among members.
