The Shacks were an American indie pop band from New York City, consisting of vocalist and bassist Shannon Wise and guitarist and producer Max Shrager. Formed in 2014, they debuted in 2016 with the EP "The Shacks". Their first full-length album, "Haze", was released in 2018 under Big Crown Records. Their cover of "This Strange Effect" was featured in a global Apple advertising campaign.
