The Sound of Animals Fighting is an American rock supergroup founded by Rich Balling of Rx Bandits. The band released a trilogy of albums between 2004 and 2008: "Tiger and the Duke" (2005), "Lover, the Lord Has Left Us..." (2006), and "The Ocean and the Sun" (2008). Their music blends experimental rock, art rock, and progressive rock. After a period of inactivity, the band returned with the EP "Apeshit" in 2022 and subsequently released the live album "Live in Philadelphia" in 2023. They are known for wearing animal masks to conceal their members' identities during performances.
