The Travelling Band is an English rock group formed in 2006 in Manchester. The band consists of Jo Dudderidge (vocals, acoustic guitar, keyboards), Adam P. Gorman (vocals, electric guitar, synthesizer), Nick Vaal (drums), Harry Fausing Smith (violin, saxophone, guitars, vocals), and Sam Quinn (bass guitar). They have released four studio albums: "Under the Pavement" (2008), "Screaming Is Something" (2011), "The Big Defreeze" (2014), and "Sails" (2017). Their music blends elements of alternative rock and indie folk. In 2008, they won the Glastonbury Festival New Talent Award. In December 2014, they made headlines after their van containing £30,000 worth of equipment was stolen; it was later recovered.
