The Undertones are a rock band formed in Derry, Northern Ireland, in 1974. The original lineup consisted of Feargal Sharkey (vocals), John O'Neill (rhythm guitar), Damian O'Neill (lead guitar), Michael Bradley (bass guitar), and Billy Doherty (drums). Their music drew from punk rock and new wave, with later works incorporating elements of rock, glam rock, and post-punk. Their most notable song is "Teenage Kicks".
