The Violent Hour is an American hard rock band formed in 2024 by vocalist Carla Harvey after her departure from Butcher Babies. The band released their self-titled debut EP on July 25, 2025, under Megaforce Records. The EP features five tracks, including singles "Sick Ones" featuring guitarist John 5 and "Hell or Hollywood" featuring guitarist Zakk Wylde. Carla Harvey wrote all the lyrics and performed vocals, while her fiancé Charlie Benante of Anthrax and Pantera composed the music and played most instruments. The band is known for its energetic hard rock sound with influences from alternative rock and metal.
