The Weather Girls were an American female duo consisting of Martha Wash and Izora Armstead. Formed in 1976 in San Francisco, they initially performed as Two Tons O' Fun, providing backing vocals for disco singer Sylvester. In 1982, they rebranded as The Weather Girls and achieved their biggest hit with "It's Raining Men," which topped the U.S. Dance chart. Their 1983 album "Success" featured this hit along with tracks like "Dear Santa (Bring Me a Man This Christmas)."
