The Whole Darn Family was a funk group from Richmond, Virginia, formed in the 1970s. Their 1976 debut album, "Has Arrived," features the track "Seven Minutes of Funk," later sampled by artists such as Jay-Z, EPMD, and Grandmaster Flash. The band was produced by August "Mr. Wiggles" Moon and appeared on the Soul Train program. Their music is often compared to bands like War, Ohio Players, and Brick.
