The Wrens were an American indie rock band from New Jersey, active between 1989 and 2021. The group consisted of Charles Bissell (guitar/vocals), brothers Greg Whelan (guitar/vocals) and Kevin Whelan (bass/vocals), and Jerry MacDonald (drums). They released three studio albums: "Silver" (1994), "Secaucus" (1996), and "The Meadowlands" (2003). Their music was influenced by bands like My Bloody Valentine and Pixies. After the band's dissolution in 2021, Kevin Whelan formed the project Aeon Station, while Charles Bissell launched his solo project Car Colors in 2023.
