Thee Headcoatees was a British all-female garage rock band formed in the early 1990s as a backing group for Thee Headcoats. The band consisted of Kyra Rubella, Holly Golightly, Ludella Black, and Bongo Debbie. In 1991, they released their debut album "Girlsville" on Hangman Records, featuring songs written by Billy Childish and covers of tracks by The Kinks and The Beatles. Their final album, "Here Comes Cessation," was released in 1997. After the band's dissolution, Holly Golightly pursued a solo career, collaborating with bands such as The Greenhornes and The White Stripes.
