Theraphosa is a Paris-based French progressive metal band composed of brothers Vincent, Matthieu, and Martin Dubout. The band debuted in 2018 with their self-titled EP, recorded in Helsinki under the guidance of Jan Rechberger of Amorphis and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. In 2020, they released their first album, "Transcendence," followed by "Inferno" in 2024, inspired by Dante Alighieri's "Divine Comedy." Their music blends progressive metal with groove and alternative elements, collaborating with producers like Francis Caste and Rémy "R3myBoy" Deliers.
