These Arms Are Snakes was an American post-hardcore band formed in 2002 in Seattle, Washington. The band released three studio albums: "Oxeneers or the Lion Sleeps When Its Antelope Go Home" (2004), "Easter" (2006), and "Tail Swallower and Dove" (2008). Their music blended elements of post-hardcore, alternative metal, and math rock. After disbanding in 2009, members of the band joined other projects such as Russian Circles, Narrows, and Minus the Bear.
