Thijs van Leer is a Dutch musician, best known as the founding member of the rock band Focus, where he served as the primary vocalist, keyboardist, and flautist. Born in Amsterdam, he began playing piano and flute from a young age. In 1971, he achieved international success with the song "Hocus Pocus" from the album "Moving Waves". Beyond his work with Focus, he released the "Introspection" series of solo albums, blending classical music with rock elements.
