Thomas Quendler is an Austrian jazz pianist from Wolfsberg in Carinthia. He studied jazz piano at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt and the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. In 2025, he was awarded the Ö1 Jazz Scholarship, enabling him to pursue a two-year program at the Jam Music Lab Private University in Vienna and produce a CD with Quinton Records. His debut album, "Awaking," was released in the summer of 2025 as part of the Jazzthing – Next Generation series. Quendler is known for his trio with double bassist Jakob Gönitzer and drummer Andreas Reisenhofer. His musical influences include Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, and Brad Mehldau.
