Tingvall Trio is a jazz ensemble formed in 2003 in Hamburg, Germany, comprising Swedish pianist Martin Tingvall, Cuban double bassist Omar Rodriguez Calvo, and German drummer Jürgen Spiegel. Their debut album, "Skagerrak," was released in 2006, followed by albums such as "Vägen" (2011), "Beat" (2014), and "Cirklar" (2017). The trio has received three ECHO Jazz awards in the "Ensemble of the Year" category, and their album "Vägen" achieved platinum status in Germany. Their music blends contemporary jazz elements with influences from Sweden, Cuba, and Germany.
