Tithe is a Portland, Oregon-based trio that blends death metal, black metal, and grindcore. Formed in 2017 by vocalist/guitarist Matt Eiseman and drummer Kevin Swartz, bassist Alex Huddleston joined in 2018. Their debut album, "Penance," was released in May 2020 and received positive feedback. In 2023, they released their second album, "Inverse Rapture," continuing their aggressive and raw style. The album was produced by Fester, mastered by Adam Gonsalves, and features artwork by Abomination Hammer. Tithe is known for their fast tempos and dark passages.
