Tjeerd van der Ploeg is a Dutch organist and church musician born in 1958. He studied organ with Piet Post, Jan Jongepier, and Jacques van Oortmerssen, completing his studies at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. He serves as the organist at the Protestant Church in Purmerend. Van der Ploeg is known for his recordings of Charles Tournemire's works, including "L'Orgue Mystique" and "Oeuvres d'Orgue". Additionally, he has recorded organ music by Herbert Howells. He has published articles on the English composer Herbert Howells and the Spanish composer Francisco Correa de Arauxo.
