Tobias Meinhart Quartet is a jazz ensemble led by German saxophonist Tobias Meinhart. Formed in 2008, the group quickly gained recognition, sharing stages with artists like Joshua Redman and the Yellowjackets featuring Mike Stern. Their debut album, "Pursuit of Happiness," was released in 2011 under Double Moon Records. This was followed by "In Between" in 2014, featuring tracks such as "Be Free" and "Fly." The quartet's music blends modern New York jazz sounds with the swinging hard bop of the 1960s. Tobias Meinhart has studied at various music institutions in Europe and the USA, including the Aaron Copland School of Music in New York.
