Todd Bishop is an American jazz drummer from Portland, known for his innovative projects. In 2012, he released "Little Played Little Bird," featuring rarely performed Ornette Coleman compositions. This was followed in 2014 by "Travelogue," an album of mostly original music inspired by his group's European tour. Collaborators on this album included Brazilian pianist Jasnam Daya Singh (formerly known as Weber Iago), saxophonist Richard Cole, and bassist Chris Higgins. Bishop's music is characterized by a modern post-bop sound and a creative approach to jazz standards.
