Tokio Hotel is a German pop-rock band formed in 2001 in Magdeburg. The members are vocalist Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing, and drummer Gustav Schäfer. Their 2005 debut album "Schrei" featured the hit "Durch den Monsun". Subsequent albums include "Zimmer 483" (2007), "Humanoid" (2009), "Kings of Suburbia" (2014), "Dream Machine" (2017), and "2001" (2022). The band has received over 110 national and international awards, including MTV Europe Music Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. Their musical style has evolved from pop-rock to electropop and synth-pop.
