Tom Dawes was an American musician and composer, best known as the frontman of The Cyrkle, a band that achieved success in the 1960s with the hit "Red Rubber Ball." After the band's dissolution, Dawes focused on creating advertising jingles, collaborating with his wife Ginny Redington through their company TwinStar Music. Among his most notable jingles are "7-Up: The Uncola" and "Avon: Elusive." In 2022, a compilation titled "Elusive: The Tom Dawes Jingle Workshop" was released, featuring over fifty of his jingles.
