Tory Lanez is a Canadian singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer. He began his career in 2009 and first gained recognition with the 2013 mixtape "Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story." In 2015, he signed with Mad Love Records and Interscope Records. His debut album, "I Told You" (2016), featured the singles "Say It" and "Luv," which reached 23 and 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. Subsequent albums include "Memories Don't Die" (2018), "Love Me Now?" (2018), "Chixtape 5" (2019), "Daystar" (2020), "Alone at Prom" (2021), and "Sorry 4 What" (2022). In 2025, he released "Peterson," recorded during his incarceration. Lanez won the Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year for "Shooters" in 2017.
