Tractor is an English rock band formed in Rochdale, Lancashire, in 1971 by guitarist and vocalist Jim Milne and drummer Steve Clayton. Originally operating under the name The Way We Live since 1966, they released their debut album "A Candle for Judith" in 1971 on Dandelion Records. Subsequently, they changed their name to Tractor and released a self-titled album in 1972. The band is notable for their collaboration with John Peel, who provided them with recording equipment and supported their career. Over the years, they have released several albums and remained active in the music scene.
