Tracy Bonham is an American singer-songwriter who gained prominence in the 1990s with her 1996 debut album, "The Burdens of Being Upright," featuring the hit "Mother Mother." The album achieved gold status and earned two Grammy nominations. A classically trained violinist and pianist, Bonham blends alternative rock and post-grunge in her music. Her other notable albums include "Down Here" (2000), "Blink the Brightest" (2005), and "Masts of Manhatta" (2010). In 2025, she released "Sky Too Wide." Bonham has also collaborated with Blue Man Group on their tours and continues to create music and perform.
