Trance is a German heavy metal band formed in 1974 under the name TRIBUT, later renamed to Trance in 1979. Alongside Scorpions and Accept, they are among the pioneers of heavy metal in Germany. Their debut album "Break Out" in 1982 and the follow-up "Power Infusion" in 1983 brought them success in the German and Benelux markets. After several lineup changes and hiatuses, they returned in 2021 with the album "Metal Forces". The current lineup includes vocalist Nick Holleman, guitarist Joris van Rooij, drummer Andreas Neuderth, and founding members Markus Berger and Thomas Klein.
