Trembling Bells was a Scottish folk rock group formed in 2008 by drummer Alex Neilson. The band released six studio albums, including "Carbeth" (2009), "Abandoned Love" (2010), and "Dungeness" (2018). Their music drew inspiration from 1960s psychedelia and the British folk revival, with vocalist Lavinia Blackwall often compared to Sandy Denny. In 2012, they collaborated with Bonnie 'Prince' Billy on the album "The Marble Downs". The group disbanded in 2018 following Blackwall's departure, with members focusing on individual projects.
