Trevor Peacock was an English actor and songwriter, best known for his role as Jim Trott in the BBC comedy series "The Vicar of Dibley". Born on May 19, 1931, in London, he worked as a teacher before pursuing acting. As a songwriter, he penned several 1960s hits, including "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter", popularized by Herman's Hermits. Peacock also contributed to musicals such as "Passion Flower Hotel" and "Andy Capp". He passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 89.
