Trini Lopez was an American singer and guitarist, best known for his 1963 hit "If I Had a Hammer," which reached number 3 in the US and sold over one million copies. His other notable songs include "Lemon Tree" and "La Bamba." Lopez designed two guitar models for Gibson, which became collector's items. In 1967, he appeared in the film "The Dirty Dozen." Throughout his career, he released over 60 albums and was inducted into the International Latin Music Hall of Fame in 2003.
