Trio Esperança is a Brazilian vocal trio formed in 1958 in Rio de Janeiro by siblings Mário, Regina, and Evinha Correia José Maria. They achieved success with hits like "Festa do Bolinha" and "Filme Triste," a 1962 version of "Sad Movies (Make Me Cry)." The group released albums under labels such as Polygram Records, EMI, Universal Music, and Philips Records. After a hiatus in 2002, they returned to the stage in 2008. In 2010, they released "De Bach a Jobim" on the French label Dreyfus Jazz, featuring covers of songs by The Beatles, Bach, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, along with original material. In 2013, they released "Doce França," interpreting French songs. The products available from the artist Trio Esperança include CDs.
