Tripping Daisy is an American alternative rock band formed in 1990 in Dallas, Texas. The group consisted of vocalist and guitarist Tim DeLaughter, guitarist Wes Berggren, bassist Mark Pirro, and drummer Jeff Bouck. Their second album, 1995's "I Am an Elastic Firecracker," featured the hit "I Got a Girl," which reached number 6 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart. The band disbanded in 1999 following Berggren's death. In 2024, they reunited, announcing a tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of "I Am an Elastic Firecracker" and plans for a new album.
