Carl Terrell Mitchell, known as Twista, is an American rapper from Chicago, born on November 27, 1973. He is renowned for his rapid-fire rapping style and was listed in the Guinness World Records in 1992 as the fastest rapper, pronouncing 598 syllables in 55 seconds. His notable albums include "Adrenaline Rush" (1997) and "Kamikaze" (2004), which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart, supported by the hit "Slow Jamz" featuring Kanye West and Jamie Foxx. Twista has collaborated with artists such as Do Or Die, R. Kelly, and Speedknot Mobstaz. He received two Grammy nominations in 2005 for the tracks "Overnight Celebrity" and "Slow Jamz".
