Ultra Q is a post-punk revival band from Oakland, California, consisting of Jakob Armstrong (vocals and guitar), Enzo Malaspina (guitar), Kevin Judd (bass guitar), and Chris Malaspina (drums). Originally known as Mt. Eddy, the band rebranded as Ultra Q in 2019. Their debut EP, "We're Starting to Get Along," was released that same year, followed by "In a Cave in a Video Game" in 2020 and "Get Yourself a Friend" in 2021. In 2023, they released their first full-length album, "My Guardian Angel." Their music is influenced by bands like The Strokes and Interpol, with their sound characterized as a blend of garage punk and post-punk.
