Underoath is an American rock band from Tampa, Florida, formed in 1997. Originally identifying as a Christian band, they later distanced themselves from Christianity. Their most successful albums, "They're Only Chasing Safety" (2004) and "Define the Great Line" (2006), achieved gold certifications from the RIAA. The band is known for their style that blends metalcore, post-hardcore, and screamo. In 2022, they released the album "Voyeurist".
