Urban Verbs was an American new wave band from Washington, D.C., active between 1977 and 1982. The group consisted of vocalist Roddy Frantz, guitarist Robert Goldstein, bassist Linda France, keyboardist Robin Rose, and drummer Danny Frankel. They released two albums under Warner Bros. Records: "Urban Verbs" (1980) and "Early Damage" (1981). Their music blended elements of new wave and post-punk. The band was known for performances at venues like CBGB and the 9:30 Club. In 1980, they planned a tour with Joy Division, which was canceled following Ian Curtis's death. The band disbanded in 1982. The products available from the artist Urban Verbs include CDs.
