Urgehal is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1992 in Hønefoss. The band is known for its raw and aggressive style, characteristic of the Norwegian black metal scene. Notable albums include "Arma Christi" (1997), "Through Thick Fog Till Death" (2003), and "Goatcraft Torment" (2006). Following the death of frontman Trondr Nefas in 2012, the band ceased activities.
