To commemorate the 50th anniversary of his career in 2009, a 2CD set featuring over 40 tracks was released, personally selected and compiled by Václav Hybš. The album includes major pop hits performed by leading Czech artists such as Karel Gott, Waldemar Matuška, Helena Vondráčková, Lucie Bílá, Milan Chladil, Karel Hála, Eva Pilarová, and Yvetta Simonová. Additionally, it offers intriguing recordings, many of which are appearing on CD for the first time, including collaborations with Josef Suk and Jožka Černý. The collection also features popular instrumental pieces and the legendary 1974 New Year's Eve opera with Karel Gott and Waldemar Matuška in its full version.
