Valkyrja is a Swedish black metal band formed in 2004 in Stockholm. Their debut album, "The Invocation of Demise," was released in 2007, followed by "Contamination" (2010), "The Antagonist's Fire" (2013), and "Throne Ablaze" (2018). The band is known for its aggressive and ritualistic approach to black metal, with music characterized by dark and intense atmospheres. They recorded at Necromorbus Studio under the direction of producer Tore Stjerna. Valkyrja is considered a significant representative of the contemporary Swedish black metal scene.
