Velvet Viper is a German heavy metal band from Hamburg, founded in 1990 by vocalist Jutta Weinhold after the dissolution of her previous band, Zed Yago. The band released two albums in the 1990s and reunited in 2017 after a hiatus. Their albums include "Respice Finem" (2018), "Cosmic Healer" (2021), and "Nothing Compares To Metal" (2023). Musically, they focus on heavy and power metal with lyrics inspired by fantasy themes. The band plans to conclude their career in 2025 with "The Final Chapter" tour.
