Venom Prison is a Welsh death metal band formed in 2015. The band has released four studio albums: "Animus" (2016), "Samsara" (2019), "Primeval" (2020), and "Erebos" (2022). Their music blends elements of death metal, hardcore, and grindcore. Lyrics often address political and social issues such as misogyny, rape culture, and organized religion. The band won the "Best New Band" award at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards in 2017.
