Vincenzo Maltempo is an Italian pianist born in 1985 in Benevento, Italy. He studied at the S. Cecilia Conservatory in Rome under Salvatore Orlando and later continued his studies with Riccardo Risaliti at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola. In 2006, he won the "Premio Venezia" at Teatro La Fenice. Maltempo is known for his recordings of works by Charles-Valentin Alkan, Franz Liszt, and Frédéric Chopin. His recordings have received positive reviews from international critics. He currently teaches at the Conservatory in Turin.
