Vintersorg is a Swedish metal band from Skellefteå, formed in 1994 under the name Vargatron. The band combines elements of black metal, folk metal, and progressive metal. Their discography includes albums such as "Till fjälls" (1998), "Cosmic Genesis" (2000), and "Visions from the Spiral Generator" (2002). Lyrics explore themes like nature, mythology, and philosophy. Founding member Andreas "Vintersorg" Hedlund is also known for his work with bands Borknagar and Otyg.
